The opportunity
n
We have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team based in our Melbourne office. These positions play a key in supporting the continued growth and success of the business. The roles are fast paced and will suit individuals who thrive in high volume settings.
n
You'll be busy with
n
n
- daily management of cash receipts and receipting cash payments received
n
- preparing trust/office movements related to billing settlements, ensuring all supporting documentation and approvals are complete
n
- investigating unallocated cash balances including reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated
n
- management of client questions and internal support as required
n
- ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the Firm
n
- timely processing invoice cancellations/ adjustments as required
n
- actively investigating and resolving any disputes/queries within a timely and effective manner as well as assisting with client payment plans
n
- collating information for internal business needs as required
n
- supporting staff and Partners with related queries
n
n
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
n
n
- excellent accuracy with processing volume
n
- strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- experience with trust accounts would be advantageous
n
- experience with our practice management system (Aderant) is desirable, otherwise familiarity using finance software
n
n
