Join one of Australia's leading technology services organisations, Cube Networks, as a Senior Project Engineer - helping deliver cutting-edge infrastructure, security, and cloud solutions for enterprise clients across APAC.

The Prospect

n

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions across Cube's core domains — Networking, Security and and Data Centre. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to deliver high-quality, technically sound outcomes while maintaining strong communication and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Design

n

n
- Lead the design, validation, and delivery of enterprise-grade technology solutions.
n
- Conduct client workshops, develop detailed and as-built documentation, and provide technical leadership across projects.
n
- Build and implement solutions in accordance with scope, timelines, and budget.
n
- Provide Level 3 support and post-implementation troubleshooting.
n
- Ensure all project documentation, risk logs, and handover materials are maintained and accurate.
n
- Partner with Account and Project Managers to support presales activities including solution design, pricing estimates, and Statement of Work preparation.
n
- Present technical roadmaps and recommendations that align to client strategy.
n
- Identify opportunities for new business and solution enhancement.
n

Governance & Commercial

- Contribute to service revenue and utilisation targets through effective project delivery.
n
- Peer-review Statements of Work, budgets, and technical scopes to ensure commercial accuracy.
n
- Escalate risks and potential budget overruns as required.
n

Leadership & Development

n

n
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to project engineers and consultants.
n
- Support capability development, including new service offerings and vendor alignment.
n
- Drive knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the delivery team.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- 5–10 years' experience delivering enterprise technology projects across Networking, Security, Cloud, or Collaboration environments.
n
- Systems integrator or enterprise background with hands-on project delivery experience.
n
- Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and troubleshooting skills.
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba, Fortinet or Juniper highly regarded.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with international teams.
n
