The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and committed Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis to support our thriving practice.

This role will include the position of head physio for a local men’s QAFL team which the clinic sponsors. You will be responsible for game day physiotherapy, injury prevention, injury management and liaising with coaching and other medical staff.



This will include time at the club during the week at trainings as well as weekend coverage.

Additionally, you will focus on making a difference to your clients' lives, not just getting them out of acute pain. You will learn communication and health change skills to connect with your clients and will improve their lives with the skills you possess.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Managing and building on our large existing client base by developing a loyal caseload.

Treating sports and general injuries as well as pre-operative/post-operative rehabilitation.

Constructing and implementing exercise programs.

Providing a holistic approach to client care via the identification of underlying causes of injury with a focus on optimal lifelong physical health.

Liaising with local GP's, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, personal trainers, Head Coaches and sport teams.

Potential for Sports Coverage and Clinical Pilates.

The successful applicant will be friendly, have excellent communication skills, and be a strong team player who is passionate about private practice. We expect that our staff are driven in their pursuit for knowledge and development and always aspiring to achieve great clinical outcomes for our patients.

Additionally,



the successful applicant will have/be:

At least 2 years' clinical experience as a Physiotherapist.

A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.

A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport quickly.

Proficient in applying sound clinical reasoning skills.

Committed to improving your own knowledge and clinical skills.

Self-motivated and organised.
