Position: Support Worker – Cleaning and Catering (Permanent Part Time) at Calvary The Mariner, South West Rocks

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist with the catering service to meet residents' food requirements, including preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution and serving of meals.
n
- Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
n
- Assist with the preparation of the dining rooms.
n
- Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines.
n
- Maintain a high standard of cleaning in residents' rooms and all general areas.
n
- Adhere to infection control, manual handling, and WHS procedures.
n
- Maintain effective and open communication.
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in basic food preparation preferred but not essential.
n
- Excellent customer service approach, friendly and bubbly personality.
n
- Effective time management skills and experience in a fast‐paced environment.
n
- Basic understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia, including challenging behaviours,



and knowledge of the aged care standards will be highly regarded.
n
- Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‐based organisation.
