A quick-growing commercial lending business is hiring a Credit Support Officer to keep credit applications moving smoothly from approval through to settlement.

This is a junior role supporting the Credit team with contract preparation, condition management, document coordination and settlement. It is a genuine entry point into a credit career. You will work alongside experienced Credit Analysts and Credit Managers, and build a real understanding of lending documentation, credit operations and risk. For the right person it leads into credit assessment and analyst roles.

What you will be doing

- Preparing legal loan contracts and supporting documentation in line with approved credit terms
- Entering and maintaining contract and client data across relevant systems
- Completing manual calculations to support contract preparation and credit assessment
- Assisting with deal construction and processing, short of final decisioning
- Managing the credit inbox, replying to and routing correspondence
- Sending contracts and supporting documents to clients and stakeholders on time




- Obtaining and reviewing client documents to confirm pre and post settlement conditions are met
- Checking executed contracts for accuracy and completeness before finalisation
- Tracking all credit applications, approvals and declines in the credit management system
- Contacting clients ahead of signing to work through outstanding conditions and clarify terms

What you will bring

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Law or similar preferred
- 1 years' experience in a lending organisation or a legal role highly desired
- Exceptional attention to detail and genuine curiosity
- Strong written and verbal communication, and confidence dealing with internal teams and external stakeholders
- The ability to work to SLAs under pressure
- A basic understanding of Australian business structures
- Comfort juggling multiple tasks at once
