Are you an experienced HR qualified looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity that allows you to make a real impact while maintaining work-life balance?
We are seeking a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our People & Culture team based in Midvale, Western Australia.
This is a Fixed Term engagement ending February 2027 working 30 hours per week across five days, this role offers flexibility while allowing you to partner with leaders and employees across the business to deliver practical, high-quality people solutions.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager - APAC, you will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, providing trusted advice to leaders, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and helping to foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
About the Role
As a Senior People & Culture Advisor, you will:
- Partner with managers and employees to provide timely and practical advice on a broad range of people matters.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding activities.
- Provide guidance and interpretation on Contemporary Awards, the National Employment Standards, Fair Work legislation, and other employment-related matters.
- Assist with the development, review and implementation of People & Culture policies, procedures and initiatives.
- Support compliance reporting, onboarding programs, training activities and employee engagement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture Advisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and HR best practice.
- Experience managing employee relations, performance management and recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience within mining, manufacturing, construction, trades or related industries will be highly regarded.
