Quantum Civil Pty Ltd is an established and rapidly expanding civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure, commercial, industrial and local government projects throughout Victoria.

As we continue our growth journey, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the business through its next phase of expansion. This role is suited to a commercially driven leader with a strong background in civil construction who can successfully combine operational leadership with strategic business development.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for driving the company's performance, expanding its client portfolio, leading project delivery teams and identifying new market opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

n

Provide strategic leadership across all business operations.

n

Drive sustainable business growth through proactive client engagement and business development.

n

Develop long-term relationships with developers, councils, government agencies, consultants and key industry partners.

n

Identify and pursue current project opportunities while maintaining a healthy tender pipeline.

n

Lead and mentor team to secure and deliver projects

n

Oversee project performance, financial reporting, resource planning and risk management.

n

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.

n

Improve business systems, operational processes and overall organisational performance.

n

About You

n

You are an experienced leader who understands both the operational and commercial aspects of running a successful civil construction business.

n

You will have:

n

A proven background in senior leadership within the civil construction industry.

n

Extensive experience in Project Management, Construction Management or Operations Management.

n

A successful track record in business development and securing new work.

n

Strong relationships across the Victorian civil construction sector.

n

Excellent commercial, contractual and financial management skills.

n

Outstanding leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.

n

A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is ideal

n

A genuine executive leadership position with the opportunity to influence the future direction of the company.
