Business Services Accountant - Intermediate or Senior

We are seeking a candidate who is seeking a pathway to a Manager role.

What's involved

We are seeking an individual that is ready to take on a dynamic and evolving role as we embark on our next phase of growth. You will be involved with:

Assisting with tax planning, including reviewing client structures and identifying tax-saving opportunities

Assisting with the growth of our advisory services

Preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entity types

Preparing and reviewing Activity Statements

Preparing FBT, Division 7A and Payroll Tax calculations and compliance

Provide bookkeeping support when required, including Xero implementations

Liaising with clients regarding their service requirements

Liaising with government agencies and other external parties





Ensuring all tasks are completed within the ATO lodgement program and internal deadlines

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian taxation legislation

What it will take

To be a part of our team, you will have:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting

Completed or near-completed the CA or CPA

A minimum of 4 years experience in a business services role

Excellent written and communication skills

Solid attention to detail and problem solving skills

Ability to build rapport with team and clients

Ability to provide insights based on financial and non-financial information

Excellent time management and organisationalskills

Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of tasks and complete work to a high standard

Be a self-starter; goal driven and highly motivated

Have experience in using Xero, Xero Tax, BGL Simple Fund 360, NowInfinity, MS Office suite and Futrli

Remuneration will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
