Responsibilities

n

n
- Run complex commercial litigation from initial advice to resolution, including strategy, pleadings, and advocacy.
n
- Act for clients in contractual, corporate, insolvency, and regulatory disputes.
n
- Represent clients in contested applications, mediations, and hearings in State and Federal Courts.
n
- Draft high-quality pleadings, affidavits, and settlement documentation.
n
- Provide commercially focused legal advice on dispute strategy and risk.
n
- Mentor junior lawyers, review work, and support technical development.
n




- Support business development through client relationship management and thought leadership.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Law degree and an Australian Practising Certificate.
n
- 5–10 years' PQE in commercial litigation, ideally with exposure to insolvency or regulatory disputes.
n
- Strong technical ability and confident file leadership across varied litigation matters.
n
- Excellent drafting and oral advocacy skills.
n
- Ability to provide strategic, client-focused advice with commercial insight.
n
- Demonstrated leadership capability and commitment to mentoring.
n
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing litigation demands.
n
