The Rugby World Cup Australia (RWCA) is proud to deliver one of the world’s most iconic sporting events — the Rugby World Cup 2027 (Men’s). More than a tournament, it’s a celebration of Rugby’s spirit, Australia’s culture, and the power of sport to unite and inspire communities around the world.

Rugby World Cup Australia has a fantastic prospect for an experienced Venue Image & Look Manager to play a key role in shaping the visual identity and fan experience of Rugby World Cup 2027. Reporting to the Senior Image & Look Manager and based in Sydney or Brisbane, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of venue branding, dressing, wayfinding and signage programs across a portfolio of competition and non-competition sites, helping create memorable experiences for fans, teams, broadcasters, commercial partners and the global rugby community.

Working at the heart of Tournament Operations, you will collaborate with venue operators, suppliers, functional areas and key stakeholders to ensure every tournament environment reflects the world-class standards of Rugby World Cup 2027. From stadiums and training venues to hotels, airports and key tournament facilities, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Image & Look projects, from planning and design review through operational readiness, delivery and installation. This hands‑on role requires a highly organised and proactive professional who can confidently manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate supplier deliverables, oversee project timelines and risks, and ensure consistent presentation standards across all assigned venues in a fast‑paced major event environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Plan, coordinate and deliver venue branding, dressing, wayfinding and signage program across competition and non-competition sites, ensuring all assets align with Rugby World Cup and World Rugby requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Image & Look activities, partnering with functional areas, venue operators and tournament stakeholders to capture requirements, resolve competing priorities and support successful delivery outcomes.
- Work closely with the appointed Image & Look supplier to manage planning,

design reviews, installation schedules and delivery, ensuring all contracted services meet quality, budget and timeline expectations.
- Monitor project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, providing timely updates and ensuring approvals and delivery schedules remain on track.
- Support the development and implementation of signage, branding and wayfinding solutions from concept and design through to production, installation and venue operations.
- Review budgets, monitor expenditure and assist with contract management activities to maximise value, maintain compliance and ensure delivery within agreed financial parameters.
- Support project reporting, operational readiness activities, event-time delivery and post-event debriefs, while identifying opportunities for sustainable practices, inventory reuse and delivery efficiencies across the tournament footprint.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 3 years' experience in major events delivery, within signage, venue branding, wayfinding, technical services, overlay or a related event delivery environment.
- Strong knowledge of signage and wayfinding programs, including design development, production, installation and operational delivery.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience managing suppliers and contractors, ensuring contractual obligations, quality standards and project milestones are achieved.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines and project requirements.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility and strong working relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced setting.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach,

with flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required during tournament delivery.
- Experience working across multiple venues or large-scale operational environments, ideally within major events, sport, entertainment or public events.
- Commercial awareness, including experience reviewing budgets, monitoring project expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise value.
- Experience interpreting stakeholder requirements and translating them into practical operational delivery plans.
- Advanced planning and coordination skills, with experience delivering projects from concept development through to implementation and event‑time operations.
- Knowledge of sustainable event delivery practices, including asset reuse, inventory optimisation and environmentally responsible signage solutions.
