To further accelerate our growth in line with the global business strategy, we have a full-time opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated Financial Controller to be based in the Rydalmere branch of our All Lift subsidiary in Sydney. The Financial Controller is responsible for supporting post‑merger integration from a Finance perspective, ensuring full alignment of financial structures, reporting, and compliance with group and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in leading the post‑merger integration and change program to harmonise finance processes, reporting frameworks and controls, while ensuring that all IFRS obligations and Significant Global Entity (SGE) reporting and compliance requirements are fully implemented and adhered to.

The role ensures that all finance‑related regulations, governance standards, and reporting obligations applicable to a multinational corporation (MNC) are effectively adapted, embedded, and operationalised within the integrated business environment.

About You:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly acquired subsidiary at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. Working closely with local and Group stakeholders, you will help establish strong financial processes, embed governance and reporting standards,



and support the successful transition of the business into the broader Jungheinrich group.

You will ideally have:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA.

A minimum of 13–15 years of relevant finance experience, including substantial time in a comparable role, so they can perform effectively from day one with minimal on-the-job learning.

A minimum of 3–5 years of audit experience in a reputable public accounting firm (preferably a Big Four firm) or in the internal audit function of a well‑established multinational corporation (MNC) is required.

Extensive prior experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment is required, including exposure to complex regional or global structures and matrix reporting lines.

Proven change leadership and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to lead teams in adapting to changing business requirements such as post‑merger integration, organisational transformation, process improvement programmes, or the implementation of new systems and ways of working.

Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, like Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) or equivalent governance, risk, and control standards, is essential.

Robust experience in group reporting, forecasting, planning, statutory reporting, and financial governance.

Ability to lead cross‑functional finance projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders across local and group functions.

Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity, transparency, and process improvement.

Experience working with external auditors, advisors, and internal governance functions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate complex financial matters for non‑finance stakeholders.

Proficiency in ERP / financial reporting systems and advanced Excel skills are required.



Power BI skills are advantageous.

Fluency in English, additional languages are an advantage.

Availability to travel as part of the role, as required.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Strong business partnering capability to support the Managing Director with value‑added financial analysis and insights to steer the business effectively through the post‑merger integration phase.

Lead and contribute to special projects to align finance structures, reporting processes, governance frameworks, process improvements, system implementations and finance transformation initiatives including post‑merger integration and other change programmes, as required.

Ensure a strong control workplace across the business, including compliance with IFRS, Group Accounting Policies, governance standards, and MNC/SGE regulatory requirements.

Support the implementation and alignment of group financial reporting models.

Ensure that all financial obligations, regulations, and disclosure requirements are adapted and implemented across the organisation.

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including forecasts and planning cycles.

Act as a key interface between local Finance teams and Group/ Holding Finance.

Support external audits, reviews, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Ensure the integrity, consistency, and transparency of financial data and reporting outputs.

Contribute to special finance and integration‑related projects as required.

Act as a collaborative team player and support the wider Finance function during the integration phase.
