Ak & Ds Pty Ltd Atf Ak & Ds Unit Trust Registered Nurse (Medical Practice) AK & DS Pty Ltd ATF AK & DS Unit Trust t/a My Family Medical Health Centre Location: Gregory Hills, NSW Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience Occupation: Registered Nurse (Medical Practice) About the Role My Family Medical Health Centre is a general medical practice located in Gregory Hills, NSW.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (Medical Practice) to join our clinical team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will provide high-quality nursing care to patients attending the practice and work collaboratively with General Practitioners and other health professionals to support the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred primary healthcare.

Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for: Assessing patients' health needs and providing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in accordance with accepted nursing practice and professional standards; Providing clinical nursing care and treatments to patients, including wound care, immunisations, vaccinations, health assessments and other treatments within the scope of practice; Administering medications and other treatments as directed and authorised, and monitoring patients' responses to treatment and care; Assisting GPs and other health professionals with the management and ongoing care of patients; Working collaboratively with GPs and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure appropriate follow-up; Providing health education and promoting preventative healthcare, including supporting patients with chronic disease management,



healthy lifestyle choices and preventative health measures; Providing patients and their families with information regarding treatment, care, health management and preventative healthcare; Maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date clinical records and documentation; Undertaking clinical organisation and practice administration associated with the delivery of patient care; Facilitating communication between patients, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, pathology services, specialists and other external healthcare providers; Assisting with referrals, follow-up appointments, test results and other aspects of coordinating patient care; Supporting the practice in maintaining appropriate clinical procedures, infection control standards and workplace health and safety requirements; and Where required, providing guidance and support to enrolled nurses, practice staff and other healthcare workers in relation to patient care.

Essential Requirements Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification; Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); Demonstrated experience working as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a general practice or primary healthcare environment; Sound knowledge of professional nursing standards, infection control and clinical procedures; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team; and Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.





Desirable Previous experience in general practice or primary healthcare; Experience with immunisations, health assessments, wound management and chronic disease management; and Familiarity with general practice clinical systems and procedures.
