Our Emergency department never works alone, through SASH’s unique multidisciplinary ethos, SASH Emergency teams will collaborate or internally refer complex or highly specialised cases to the appropriate specialist department, ensuring the best outcome for our patients and their families.
Who are we looking for?
- A keen interest in emergency and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey
- An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in general anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. A training program will be developed for the right person to support their ongoing learning and development
- Confidence working in an extremely busy workplace
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse
- Previous experience in emergency nursing would be highly regarded but is not essential.
