About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Pipelayer to join a busy civil construction team delivering subdivision, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects across Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley. Working alongside operators and supervisors, you will play a key role in installing underground services safely, accurately, and to exact specifications.

Minimum Experience

n

You must have at least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience specifically as a pipelayer within civil construction.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Install stormwater pipelines to precise line, level, and project specifications.
n
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pipe lasers for accurate grade/alignment.
n
- Work safely around trenches and heavy machinery (excavators, skid steers).
n




- Install pits, manholes, bedding, backfill, and associated civil infrastructure.
n
- Read construction drawings, check levels, and complete basic QA paperwork.
n
- Comply with SWMS & site safety procedure.s

About You

n

n
- 5+ years of verified civil pipelaying experience.
n
- Expert knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and water main installation.
n
- Confident setting up pipe lasers and directing excavation/lifting.
n
- Current White Card and valid Driver's Licence (HR Truck licence is a plus).
n
- Desirable Tickets: Confined Space, Excavator/Loader/Skid Steer, Spotter, First Aid.
