As a Cyber Security Governance Analyst, you will join a high-performing cyber security team working on enterprise security assurance, governance and risk activities across a complex operational environment.
Your new role
As the Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst, you will provide cyber GRC expertise supporting security uplift initiatives, assurance activities and governance reporting.
Key responsibilities will include
- Contributing to solution design from a cyber security perspective
- Reviewing and developing security requirements
- Developing security documentation and artefacts supporting accreditation activities
- Supporting IRAP assessments and penetration testing coordination
- Preparing reports, briefings and communications for executive stakeholders
- Developing authorisation documentation, security plans and risk management artefacts
- Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to support security outcomes
- Supporting operational cyber governance activities during periods of heightened organisational activity
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
- Strong knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Strong understanding of PSPF and Essential Eight
- Experience developing security documentation such as:
- System Security Plans (SSP)
- Security Risk Management Plans (SRMP)
- Security authorisation documentation
- Security governance reports
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience supporting security assurance activities including IRAP assessments
- Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
- 5+ years experience in cyber security governance or assurance roles
- Federal Government, Defence or national security sector experience
- Experience working within regulated or highly secure environments
