Regulatory Reporting Manager

A leading Australian bank is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Reporting Manager to join the Group Regulatory Reporting team. The role focuses on preparing, analysing, and delivering high‐quality regulatory reports to APRA and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with prudential obligations and maintaining robust data governance.

Base Pay Range

n

A$120,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead the end‐to‐end production and review of APRA regulatory returns (ARS, ARF, EFS).
n
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant reporting across EFS, credit, capital, liquidity and balance sheet metrics.
n
- Oversee process improvements, automation initiatives and data quality enhancements within the regulatory reporting function.
n
- Interpret new and changing APRA standards and provide impact assessments and implementation guidance to senior leaders.
n
- Partner with Risk, Finance, Treasury, Data and Technology teams to streamline data flows and strengthen reporting frameworks.
n
- Manage, coach and support analysts within the reporting team.
n
- Prepare insights, commentary and presentations for internal committees, auditors and regulator interactions.

About You





n

You will thrive in this role if you have:

n

n
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
n
- Extensive regulatory reporting experience within an Australian bank or financial institution.
n
- Strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards (e.g. APS 110, 210, 220, 310) and associated reporting frameworks.
n
- Proven experience managing or reviewing ARS/ARF submissions.
n
- Advanced analytical ability, with strong data literacy (Excel, SQL or reporting automation tools) is highly regarded.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to translate technical regulatory requirements into business language.
n
- Solid attention to detail, problem‐solving capability and a continuous improvement mindset.
n
