Role: Civil Works Supervisor

n

Location: Northam, WA (headoffice start each morning)

n

Employment Type: Full time Permanent

n

Hours: Monday to Friday|6:30 am– 2:30 pm

About the Role

n

As the CivilWorks Supervisor, youwill lead byexample, promoting astrong safety culturewhile overseeing day-to-day civilconstruction activitiesacross multiple projectsites. You willbe responsible forensuringprojects are deliveredsafely, efficiently, onschedule, and tothe highest qualitystandards.

Job Description

- Supervise daily operationsacrosscivil construction sites.
n
- Coordinate and allocatelabour, plant, andmaterials.
n
- Lead site crewsto achieve safety, quality, and productivitytargets.
n
- Ensure compliance withWHS legislation,environmental requirements, company procedures,



andclient expectations.
n
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
n
- Monitor project progress, variations, and programperformance.
n
- Conduct toolboxtalks, pre-startmeetings, and siteinductions.
n
- Maintain accurate sitedocumentation, includingdaily reports, timesheets, safety records, and plant logs.
n
- Ensure plant andequipment are operatedsafely, with allrequired inspections completed.
n
- Identify and managesite hazards, risks, and correctiveactions.
n
- Mentor and developsite personnel whilecontributing to continuousimprovement initiatives.
n
- Provide regular projectupdates and reportsto the WorksManager.
n

About You To be successfulin thisrole, youwill have:

n

n
- Civil road construction and drainage experience
n
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisoryor managementrole within civilconstruction or infrastructure.
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current HR driver's licence
n
- Strong leadership, communication,and organisational skills.
n
- A proactive approachto safety andproject delivery.
n
