Job Description

- Review incoming referrals to ensure all demographic, clinical, and diagnostic information is complete and accurately documented.
n
- Verify that each referral is directed to the appropriate GP, physiotherapist, specialist, or allied health provider based on the patient's clinical needs.
n
- Identify and correct inconsistencies such as outdated provider details, missing clinical context, or incomplete patient information.
n
- Ensure referrals are formatted, updated, and finalised in line with clinical communication standards before distribution.
n
- Process and transmit the completed referrals through the clinic's practice management system to support timely continuity of care.
n
- Maintain accuracy, clinical relevance, and confidentiality in all outgoing correspondence.
n

The Successful Applicant
n
n
- Proven experience in transcription, ideally within the healthcare industry.
n
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
n
- Knowledge of medical terminology and formatting requirements.
n
- Proficiency in using transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite.
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
n
n
