Our client is a growing Australian business operating across manufacturing, distribution and direct-to-consumer channels. With a well-established customer base and national operations, the company is currently investing heavily in its systems, reporting capability, and commercial infrastructure to support continued growth.

The business is undergoing a significant transformation phase, with a strong focus on improving analytics, decision support, operational visibility, and scalability across the organisation. This role will play a key part in supporting that journey while partnering closely with senior leadership across finance and operations.

The Role

n

This is a newly created Commercial Manager position sitting at the intersection of commercial finance, analytics, and strategic support. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in building out the commercial reporting and analytical capability of the business while partnering closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

n

A core focus of the role will be owning and continuously evolving the Power BI environment, improving dashboards, data models, reporting logic and commercial insights across manufacturing, retail and e-commerce operations.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Own the Power BI reporting and analytics environment across the business
n
- Build dashboards across sales, operations, e‐commerce and financial performance
n




- Develop and maintain data models and ERP/system integrations
n
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting processes
n
- Build financial models to support strategic initiatives and business growth
n
- Deliver meaningful commercial insights and KPI reporting to leadership
n
- Partner with manufacturing, operations and sales teams on performance analysis
n
- Support pricing, margin analysis and product profitability initiatives
n
- Assist with board reporting and investor analysis
n
- Support the CFO on strategic projects, commercial modelling and growth initiatives
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- CA or CPA qualified
n
- Strong background in commercial finance, FP&A; or management accounting
n
- Advanced hands‐on Power BI capability
n
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
n
- Experience within manufacturing, retail, consumer goods or e‐commerce environments highly regarded
n
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder engagement skills
n
