This is an exciting opportunity to join a professionally run 35m private motor yacht with a close-knit crew of six. Based on the Gold Coast, the yacht enjoys cruising Australia's east coast and occasionally heading to New Zealand and Fiji.

The Program

The Role

n

As Sole Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of the galley, delivering exceptional meals for the owner, guests and crew.

n

The owner enjoys fresh, healthy cuisine with classic flavours and has specific dietary requirements, including diabetic-friendly meals. You should be confident preparing a wide variety of international cuisines, with experience in:

- Indian
n
- Chinese
n
- Japanese

- Seafood
n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Full galley management, provisioning and budgeting
n
- Menu planning for owner, guests and crew
n
- Preparing high-quality, healthy meals tailored to dietary preferences
n
- Daily crew meals
n
- Maintaining exceptional hygiene and organisation within the galley
n
- Working closely with the Captain and crew to deliver a first-class onboard experience
n

Ideal Candidate

n

n
- Previous yacht chef experience preferred
n
- Professionally trained chef with a strong culinary background
n
- Confident preparing a wide variety of international cuisines
n
- Excellent provisioning and organisational skills
n
- Calm, flexible and positive attitude
n
- High attention to detail and pride in presentation
n
- Enjoys working as part of a professional, friendly crew
n

- STCW 2010

- Valid ENG1 or AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness (AMSA 303)
