The business is based on the Sunshine Coast and has achieved extraordinary growth in its early years. The founder and business are both multi-award winning with a significant media presence. The business recently secured significant investment to further scale it's growth domestically and internationally.

Position Overview
n
The Corporate Accountant is responsible for all financial processes and controls across The Laundry Lady's domestic and international markets.
n
This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development and exposure to various aspects of financial management in a dynamic marketplace business.
n
The position reports jointly to the CEO & part time CFO, with wide exposure across the business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Management Accounts:Prepare monthly management accounts within one week of calendar month end close. Prepare appropriate reconciliations and journal entries. Report these to CEO & CFO
n
- Oversight of transaction processing
n
- Accounts Receivable
n
- Accounts Payable
n
- Bank Reconciliation
n
- Invoice Processing
n
- Oversee maintenance of accurate records in Xero
n
- ATO - ensure compliance with GST, BAS & PAYG submissions
n
- Liaise with external tax accountants regain preparation of income tax returns
n
- Support the timely production of information for R&D; Grant application.
n
- Oversee Management Accounts,
Bank reconciliations and payroll of international entities as they commence trading in Canada and the UK
n
- Oversee the accounts of New Zealand entity
n
- Manage payroll processing in Australian and international entities
n
- Liaise with operations to ensure timely payment of contractor invoices
n
- Ensure accurate reporting between platform and Xero
n
- Prepare Weekly and Monthly KPIs for management
n
- Oversee offshore transaction processing accounting function
n
- Liaise with operations team, developers, external accountants and management as appropriate on business systems development in Australia & overseas entities.
n
- Monitor debtors & take appropriate action regarding escalation.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
- Minimum 5 years experience in accounting
n
- Some supervisory experience desirable
n
- Positive Excel skills
n
- 2-3 years Xero experience
n
- Comfortable working with software platforms
n
- Understanding of basic tax process
n
- Multi currency experience is desirable
n
n
