Demolition Labourer – Brisbane / South East Queensland looking for a reliable, hard-working Demolition Labourer to join our growing team.
We carry out residential, commercial and industrial demolition projects across Brisbane and South East Queensland and are looking for someone who is ready to work, takes pride in their job and wants consistent work with a professional demolition company.
About the Role
Your duties will include
- General demolition labouring
- Strip-outs and internal demolition
- Assisting excavator operators and site supervisors
- Loading and sorting demolition materials
- Site clean-up and preparation
- Use of basic hand and power tools
- Removal of concrete, timber, steel and general building materials
- Assisting with asbestos removal where appropriately licensed/trained
- Following site safety procedures and SWMS requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Construction White Card
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic
- Able to work safely as part of a team
- Own transport and current driver’s licence preferred
- Previous demolition or construction experience highly regarded
- Asbestos removal ticket highly regarded
- Excavator, skid steer, EWP, working at heights or other construction tickets are a bonus
