Job Description
Development Finance Partners (DFP) is one of Australia's leading non-bank property finance advisory firms, specialising in complex property transactions ranging from $2M to $100M+ across land, construction, mezzanine and structured finance.

With a solid pipeline, long-standing lender relationships, and ambitious growth plans, we're looking to appoint a Property Finance Analyst to work alongside our Directors and Associate Directors on sophisticated property finance transactions.

The Role
n
This is a senior, high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in complex deal environments and takes genuine ownership of outcomes.
n
You will be a primary point of contact for new clients and selected high-value clients, responsible for structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions end-to-end — from strategy through to settlement.
n
You'll work on multiple live transactions simultaneously, with a strong focus on conversion, fee optimisation, credit quality, and client outcomes.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Structure, secure approval for, and settle property finance transactions to maximise fee generation
n
- Develop project finance strategies, feasibility models, cashflow forecasts and funding tables
n
- Prepare lender credit submissions, client finance proposals, pitch materials and investment memorandums
n
- Manage multiple applications per client across land, construction, senior and mezzanine debt
n
- Negotiate lender pricing, terms and DFP fees to appropriate maximum levels
n
- Ensure DFP fees are funded and paid at settlement
n
- Manage conditions precedent through to financial close
n
- Coordinate valuation processes (IRR, NPV, pricing analysis)
n
- Maintain accurate deal and client records in HubSpot / CRM
n
- Build, manage and expand relationships with banks, non-banks, family offices and wholesale funders
n
- Assist with capital raises and Information Memorandums where required
n
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to junior team members
n

About You
n
You are commercially sharp, highly organised, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
n
Essential experience:
n
n
- 3+ years' experience in property finance
n
- Advanced understanding of property finance structuring and loan pricing
n
- Strong capability in feasibility modelling and funding structures
n
- Experience dealing with complex corporate and trust structures
n
- Highly developed negotiation and stakeholder management skills
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
- Post-graduate qualification in finance, accounting, economics or similar
n
- Experience across land and construction finance
n
n
