We're looking for a Long Term Planner to join our Maintenance Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping the future maintenance and asset readiness strategy across a national network. This is an opportunity to move beyond tactical planning and drive long-term decisions that improve asset reliability, resource planning and operational performance.
n
Reporting to the National Maintenance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting long-term maintenance execution across multiple sites.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
- Developing and maintaining long-term maintenance and asset readiness plans
n
- Driving the forward log to a healthy state – support review, packaging and prioritise forward works into a long-term plan (major maintenance)
n
- Supporting long-term labour resource planning across the network
n
- Leading the centralised planning and coordination of refurbishment and overhaul programs
n
- Managing centralised procurement activities including tendering, contract establishment and contractor engagement
n
- Working closely with stakeholders across Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement
n
- Develop centralised stocking strategies for critical assets and manage long term storage requirements and standards for critical spares.
n
- Analysing maintenance data and translating insights into practical business strategies
n
- Supporting harvest readiness programs and national asset planning activities
n
About You
n
We're looking for a strategic thinker who can combine technical planning expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
n
You'll bring:
n
- Experience in maintenance planning within industrial, manufacturing, mining, logistics, ports, utilities or similar asset-intensive environments
n
- Strong SAP experience, particularly within maintenance planning environments
n
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make informed, evidence-based decisions
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills
n
- Experience developing long-term plans across multiple sites or operational areas
n
- Strong organisational and project coordination capabilities
n
