Venue & Growth Manager – Bay Road Brewing

This is a hands-on venue management role at Bay Road Brewing, an independent brewery and taproom in Gosford on the NSW Central Coast.

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the venue while working closely with the owners and Operations Manager. This is a visible, floor-based role where you'll lead the team, create a welcoming customer experience, and drive the venue's financial and operational performance. You'll be responsible for all aspects of venue management - from team leadership and customer experience through to rosters, events, stock, presentation and financial performance.

Lead the venue and be present on the floor, creating a welcoming, relaxed and professional customer experience

Build genuine relationships with customers and regulars

Recruit, train, mentor and develop staff, creating a positive, accountable and enjoyable team culture

Manage rosters and ensure the venue is appropriately staffed

Control labour costs while maintaining service standards

Manage stock, ordering, stocktakes and wastage

Maintain excellent venue presentation and cleanliness

Ensure opening and closing procedures are consistently followed

Manage functions, events, live music and busy trading periods

Monitor weekly sales, labour costs, beverage margins, stock levels, stock variance, wastage and average customer spend

Has strong hospitality or venue management experience

Is confident leading and developing a team

Loves being on the floor and interacting with customers

Takes ownership rather than waiting for instructions





Has strong organisational and communication skills

Understands rosters, labour costs, stock and margins

Can remain calm and make good decisions during busy services

Takes pride in venue presentation

Is commercially minded and reliable and accountable

A current RSA is required

Bay Road Brewing is an independent brewery and taproom in Gosford on the NSW Central Coast. We're a brewery where everyone in a senior position should understand how the beer gets from grain to glass.

At Bay Road Brewing, there's no "that's not my job" mentality - our leaders lead from the front and no job is beneath anyone.

$75,000 to $85,000 per annum + superannuation

Full-time position based around a 40-hour working week

Genuine responsibility and ownership of the venue

Support from the owners and Operations Manager
