Position Overview

n

We are seeking a skilled and dependableFacilities Maintenance Technicianto join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of commercial and retail facilities. This is a hands‐on position ideal for someone who enjoys problem‐solving, working independently, and maintaining high standards of building care.

Employment Type - Part time

Roster: Monday to Wednesday - 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
n
- Respond to maintenance requests and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
n
- Conduct minor repairs such as patching walls, replacing fixtures, and adjusting doors or locks.
n
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety of mechanical rooms, storage areas, and common spaces.
n
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or inspections when needed.
n




- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
n
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
n
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including after‐hours support if required.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.
n
- 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance or a related field.
n
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
n
- Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.
n
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
n
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel between sites is required).
