An excellent opportunity exists for an Mechanical Fitter to join a growing manufacturing team, assembling high quality mechanical pipe systems for major industrial projects. Working in a modern workshop environment, you'll be responsible for mechanical assembly, fitting and quality inspections while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Assemble mechanical pipe systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions
n
- Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and specifications
n
- Conduct incoming material inspections and complete associated documentation
n
- Perform mechanical fitting, assembly and pressure testing to meet quality standards
n
- Carry out quality inspections and ensure completed assemblies meet specifications prior to dispatch
n
- Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes, product quality and workshop efficiency
n
- Support workshop operations and assist the Fabrication Team Leader as required
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards
n

About You
n
n
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner
n
- Experience in mechanical assembly within manufacturing or industrial environments
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation
n
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude and excellent safety awareness
n
