Telix Pharmaceuticals
Sydney
Telix Pharmaceuticals is a dynamic, quick-growing radiopharmaceutical company with offices in Australia (HQ), Belgium, Japan, Switzerland, and the United States. Our mission is to deliver on the promise of precision medicine through targeted radiation. At our core, we exist to create products that seek to improve the quality of life for people living with cancer and rare diseases. You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping us to advance our portfolio of late clinical-stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases.
See Yourself at Telix
Telix Pharmaceuticals is building its International Business commercial infrastructure across EMEA, APAC, Japan, Latin America, and China. As the portfolio advances toward multiple product launches, the need for rigorous, scalable commercial execution has never been more acute.
The Director, Sales Force Effectiveness & Launch Excellence is a newly created, high-impact role at the center of Telix International's commercial engine. Reporting to the CEO International, this person will own three interconnected capabilities: launch excellence frameworks that enable consistent, high-quality go-to-market execution across all IB regions; a Salesforce CRM platform built for the radiopharmaceutical sales environment; and an integrated competitive intelligence function that consolidates market signals from across the IB footprint into actionable insights for leadership.
This is a process-first, influence-driven role that requires equal parts strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-cultural credibility.
Given
Telix's lean organizational model, the successful candidate will be comfortable operating without a large support structure - and energized by the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Key Accountabilities
Launch Excellence
- Design and maintain a standardized International launch excellence framework, including launch readiness trackers, go-to-market playbooks, cross-market milestone templates, and pre-launch KPI dashboards.
- Partner with regional commercial leads (EMEA, APAC, Japan, LatAm) to embed launch frameworks into local planning cycles, adapting global standards to market-specific contexts.
- Serve as the IB launch process owner for upcoming milestones and launches.
- Identify and codify best practices from launched markets, creating a living knowledge base accessible to all regional teams.
- Support cross-functional launch readiness reviews, flagging risks and gaps proactively to CEO International and regional leadership.
- Roll up sleeves where needed: in Telix's lean environment, this role is expected to directly produce materials, run workshops, and provide hands-on support to regional teams at critical launch junctures.
Sales Force Effectiveness & CRM
- Lead the International Business Salesforce CRM build, partnering with the Global SFDC team to configure, customize, and deploy a fit-for-purpose solution for the radiopharmaceutical sales environment across IB markets.
- Define IB commercial requirements for Salesforce,
translating field realities (hot dose logistics, nuclear medicine call patterns, hybrid KOL/account management) into practical CRM design.
- Drive adoption across IB sales teams, transitioning Salesforce from a perceived reporting burden to a genuine commercial tool — through training, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Lead sales force sizing and design processes as the IB commercial footprint grows, providing data-driven recommendations on territory design, call frequency, and field force structure.
- Build and maintain SFE dashboards tracking activity, coverage, productivity, and launch KPIs across all IB markets, providing regular performance insights to regional and IB leadership.
- Establish incentive compensation frameworks and field force performance standards in collaboration with regional commercial directors and P&C.;
Competitive Intelligence
- Own the IB competitive intelligence function: design and implement a systematic CI process that captures field-level intelligence from all IB regions (EMEA, APAC, Japan, LatAm, China) and consolidates it into a coherent, actionable picture for IB leadership.
- Build and maintain a live competitive landscape tracker covering key competitors across products and geographies — including field force sizing, sales rep deployment by specialty and country, pricing and reimbursement moves, congress activity, and pipeline developments.
- Produce regular CI briefings for the CEO International and GET, synthesizing regional signals into strategic implications for Telix's commercial positioning.
- Coordinate with regional teams, Medical Affairs, and external research partners (where relevant) to ensure CI inputs are accurate, timely, and systematically updated.
- Translate competitive insights into actionable commercial recommendations — e.g., sales force deployment adjustments, messaging pivots, market access prioritization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech commercial roles, with a minimum of 3 years in Sales Force Effectiveness, Commercial Operations, or Launch Excellence functions.
- Demonstrated track record of designing and deploying SFE frameworks and/or launch excellence processes in a multi-market, international context.
- Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience in a pharmaceutical commercial setting - ideally including configuration, adoption management, and field force integration. Experience partnering with a Global SFDC team is a strong advantage.
- Experience in oncology or specialty care required; radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine,
or theranostics experience strongly preferred and will be a key differentiator.
- Proven ability to build and operationalize competitive intelligence processes, including field intelligence consolidation across multiple geographies.
- Experience supporting sales force sizing, territory design, and field force deployment in growth-stage or launch-phase organizations.
- Prior exposure to multiple IB geographies (EMEA, APAC, Japan, or LatAm) strongly preferred; deep expertise in at least one region required.
- Business-level English fluency required. Additional languages (French, German, Japanese) advantageous given the IB regional footprint.
- Based in Geneva (preferred) or within EMEA, Sydney, or Tokyo. Regular international travel required across IB markets.
