1. Please note that our shift hours range from 2 hrs and above, depending on our client's needs. If you are only looking for LONG SHIFTS (7 hours and above), then this position may not be suitable for you.
2. Please note that we only support low-care clients needing domestic assistance, community & In-home support, emotional and therapeutic support. If you are looking for shifts with clients who need high-intensity or complex support, this position may not be suitable for you.
3. Lastly, please note that we are registered under the Home Care Award stream. We encourage all applicants to read about the Home Care Award before applying, as pay rates under the Home Care Award may be different from what you are currently getting or used to. We are offering between $34 - $44/hr for this position in accordance with the HOMECARE AWARD Pay Guide, depending on your qualifications and experience.

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide support to NDIS participants based on their individual support plans and personal goals. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication administration/assistance, and domestic duties
- Transporting participants to appointments and community outings using your vehicle.
- Providing 24-hour support to participants living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, including inactive sleepover shifts, and weekend coverage
- Supporting clients to engage in community activities, appointments, and social outings
- Promoting participants' independence and choice through capacity-building activities
- Implementing behaviour support strategies (where applicable and trained)
- Providing shift note reports and incident reports
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or equivalent (or willingness to enrol)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check(Yellow Card) (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) (if working with minors)
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Experience in disability, mental health, or behaviour management support is highly regarded
- Flexible availability of 5 days a week, or a minimum of 4 days, including the ability to work a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
- Available for Sleepovers (Inactive nights)
- Willingness to travel up to 20–30 minutes to shift locations
- Open to ongoing training sessions
