As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in delivering personalized, high-quality support to ensure our participants live a life of choice, independence and dignity.

We are looking for Support Workers across all programs in St Arnaud which include:

Accommodation - Operating 24 hours a day 365 days a year assist our residents with all aspects of daily living from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night and everything in between, encouraging and promoting personal choice and control and empowering them at all times.

Lifestyle Options- Provide 1:1 support to people who live independently with a primary focus on people assuming as much control in their life as possible, supporting people in a wide range of activities both in the home and community. These activities can include anything from a walk around the lake, to helping with grocery shopping or banking, going to the movies and any other day to day activity.

Community Connections - Provide flexible group supports tailored to meet individual needs through a range of diverse activities and programs based out of our Long street office. Support people to achieve their specific goals which may include social, leisure, creative and/or life skills.

We are looking for individuals who:

- Have a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of people living with disabilities





- Have excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships

- Have a previous experience in Disability Support work – advantageous but not essential we will provide training for the right candidate

- Understand that each person has a unique journey and requires a unique approach

- Are available to work flexible schedule including mornings, weekends and sleepover shifts.

Skills and Experience The successful applicant must have or be willing to obtain:

- A Valid Victorian Drivers License

- NDIS clearance and Worker Orientation completion certificate

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Cert IV in Disability or relevant industry experience (not essential but favorable)
