Are you a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Worker who takes pride in providing meaningful care? AvisCare is seeking dedicated Support Workers and Team Leaders to join our growing team in permanent part-time and casual roles.

Your Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, inclusion, and wellbeing. No two days are the same, making every shift both rewarding and meaningful.

Typical responsibilities include

- Personal care and manual handling

- Medication assistance and mealtime support





- Domestic assistance and transportation

- Supporting social participation and community access

- Building positive and trusting relationships with clients, families, and support networks

What We're Looking For

- Experience supporting people living with disability (especially in home or community settings)

- Genuine empathy, patience, and professionalism

- Ability to commit to regular and ongoing shifts

- Flexibility to support a variety of clients and environments

- Robust communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

We welcome candidates who already hold the following qualifications and clearances, or are willing to obtain them:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Police Clearance

- Current First Aid Certificate

- COVID-19 Vaccination

- Manual Handling training (desirable)

- Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support or similar (desirable)

- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

- Full working rights in Australia
