What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for managing Dispatch and supporting Mine Monitoring & Control functions to maximise fleet utilisation, support production targets, and ensure effective communication between operational departments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Running daily fleet dispatch operations and coordinating haulage activities
- Optimising fleet allocation to support the mine plan and production targets
- Monitoring and responding to production delays and operational interruptions
- Supporting Mining, Maintenance, CHPP, and Technical Services teams through effective communication
- Validating operational data and ensuring accurate system reporting
- Supporting operators in the use of fleet management and mine monitoring systems
- Promoting safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile equipment across site
- Maintaining Mine Monitoring and Control functions in line with site procedures
What You Will Need
- Previous experience in Mining Dispatch, Mine Monitoring, Fleet Management Systems, or Production Mining Operations
- Strong understanding of load and haul operations and heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment
- Experience using Modular Dispatch or similar Fleet Management Systems (highly regarded)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Advanced computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate multiple mining systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Mining, Maintenance, CHPP, and Technical Services teams
- Ability to remain calm and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
- Current Driver's Licence,
Standard 11 &Coal; Board Medical
- Current Resume
- Highly Regarded
- Modular Mining Certification Level 1
- SAP experience
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Linux, GPS technologies, and mine monitoring systems
- Knowledge of mining dispatch terminology including haul routes, delays, hot seating, CHPP operations, fleet allocation, and production reporting
