About the role Band 3 - salary based on skills and experience + super

TasNetworks is seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to support the delivery of the North West Transmission Developments (NWTD) — one of Tasmania's most significant infrastructure programs. Based at site, you will play a critical role in ensuring the project maintains a single source of truth for all drawings, documents and project data across engineering, construction, commercial and project services functions.

Working closely with the PIMS Lead, Project Controls, Construction teams and engineering stakeholders, you will manage document workflows, maintain project information systems, facilitate multi‑discipline reviews, and support the integrity, security and accessibility of project documentation. Your work will directly contribute to protected, efficient and compliant project delivery.

What you'll do

- Manage project documentation — Receive, distribute, file and monitor drawings and documents to ensure accuracy, traceability and compliance. Assist in the turnover of drawings and documents at project completion, either hard copy or electronically.
- Support project information systems — Administer and optimise systems including InEight, Procore, and SharePoint/Office 365.
- Maintain drawing and data integrity — Liaise with TasNetworks and NWTD Engineering to ensure drawings meet TN Engineering Standards.
- Facilitate multi‑discipline reviews — Coordinate squad checks and supplier/engineering document reviews as required
- Support data governance — Support Construction General Manager with generating progress reports, tracking milestones, deliverables, and critical deadlines.
- Drive continuous improvement — Identify workflow improvements and support initiatives including AI‑enabled automation.
- Support project teams — Provide administrative assistance the Project Services and Construction teams including meetings/workshops coordination, taking minutes and travel arrangements
- Ensure compliance — Maintain adherence to privacy, IP, right‑to‑information and document security requirements.

About you You are a highly organised, detail‑focused and proactive document control professional who thrives in fast‑paced project environments. You enjoy working with complex data, supporting multidisciplinary teams and ensuring information is accurate, accessible and well‑governed.

You will bring

- Major project document control experience — 5+ years of experience in Document Control and/or Project Administration,



preferably within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or large‑scale infrastructure environments.
- Systems proficiency — High proficiency in MS Office, experience with SharePoint and Document Control Systems (preferably InEight Document)
- High attention to detail — Commitment to accuracy, data integrity and disciplined record‑keeping.
- Technical communication — Ability to tailor messages for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration and independence — Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, adapt to and operate in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset — Experience contributing to workflow optimisation or project uplift initiatives.
