Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who thrives in complex clinical practice?
Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our highly regarded Croudace Bay team. This role is ideal for an OT with strong clinical reasoning, a passion for supporting people with complex physical disability, and a genuine interest in assistive technology, seating and positioning, powered mobility, vehicle modifications, transport access and environmental solutions.
You will be joining a passionate multidisciplinary team in a well‑resourced therapy centre, supporting children, young people and adults to achieve meaningful goals, increase independence and participate more fully in everyday life.

- Custom wheelchair seating and positioning
- On‑site casting services
- Powered mobility assessment and intervention
- Complex assistive technology prescription
- Vehicle modification and transport‑related assessment
- Early diagnosis and early intervention services
- Bimanual therapy and goal‑directed therapy programs
- Bike riding, school holiday and community participation programs
- Therapy support for residents in our on‑site CPA group homes

About the role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will provide high quality assessment, intervention and clinical leadership for clients with complex physical disability and support needs.
Your caseload may include children, young people and adults requiring support with:
- Complex seating and positioning
- Manual and powered wheelchair prescription
- Postural support and pressure care considerations
- Assistive technology trials and prescription
- Vehicle access and modifications
- Transport planning and community access
- Upper limb function and participation
- Home, school and community‑based intervention
- Functional independence and daily routines
- Collaboration with families, support workers, teachers and other professionals
You will be supported to work within a transdisciplinary model, drawing on the strengths of the broader team while also contributing your own specialist OT expertise.
This role also offers opportunities to mentor others, contribute to clinical problem solving, support quality practice and continue developing your own area of specialisation.
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience working with people with complex physical disability
- Strong clinical reasoning and confidence managing complex presentations
- An interest in assistive technology, seating, positioning, mobility and access solutions
- Experience or interest in vehicle modifications, transport and community participation
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work transdisciplinarily
- A person‑centred, strengths‑based approach
- A commitment to evidence‑informed practice
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients, families and teams
- A willingness to mentor, share knowledge and contribute to team culture
- Experience in complex disability, paediatrics, lifespan practice or neurological conditions would be highly valued.
