This role is focused predominantly on uplifting the privacy standards, governance and frameworks across a global business. An existing and semi-mature framework is in place; you will work closely with an analyst and your direct manager to implement and embed the framework. As a business they are working towards 'Privacy by Design' and this role would be pivotal in embedding that into the business; your work will involve working across DPIA's and PIA's with a heavy focus on stakeholder engagement skills. Locally they are working towards meeting GDPR standards as this is viewed as the gold standard with local standards aligning with this; after the initial uplift you have the option to be involved with their AI privacy framework and uplift.

Duties

- Uplift privacy maturity across the business
n
- Work hands‐on with DPIA's, PIA's and to a lesser extend DSAR's
n
- Business stakeholder engagement up to senior level
n
- Embed privacy first and privacy by design principals
n

Skills and experience
n
n
- Previous experience in a privacy focused role - could be in house or consulting
n
- Ideally you have around 2-4 years experience, though there can be some flex on this
n
- Direct experience and knowledge of global privacy standards - GDPR, APP, CCPA, EU AI Act
n
- Ability to work independently in a nimble function
n
- Collaborative personality type to work with a global team
n
- Industry certifications are highly regarded.
