Based in Tomago, this hands‐on role will see you working on large-scale crushing and processing equipment, carrying out preparation, blasting, and industrial spray‐painting duties to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Surface preparation including masking, cleaning, and abrasive blasting
n
- Industrial spray painting using airless spray equipment
n
- Application of primers, epoxy coatings, and protective coatings
n
- Completing work to specifications and quality standards
n
- Assisting with blasting operations within a blast chamber
n
- Conducting quality checks to ensure a high-standard finish
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Spray Painting (Industrial or Automotive)
n
- Proven experience operating airless spray-painting equipment
n
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, heavy equipment, mining, or workshop workplace
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
- Abrasive blasting experience
n
- Forklift Licence
n
- Dogging / Dogman Ticket
n
- Experience working on heavy mobile plant or mining equipment
n
n
