Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Newcastle Fire Station, Elswick NA4 6HL. This is a permanent full‐time role working 37 hours per week with an annual salary of £25,460.00 and a benefits package.

n Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 15:30
n Friday 07:30 – 15:00

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Facilitate the delivery of services provided to Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Authority by Equans at any of their PFI Estate sites.
n
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with the appropriate schedules and standards.
n
- Undertake a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks at the frequencies specified by corresponding plans and industry standards.
n
- Log any jobs that arise whilst on site, and monitor and take appropriate action on jobs that have been allocated.
n
- Provide excellent customer service as a front‐facing, customer‐centric role.

Qualifications
n
n
- Experience of operational delivery of Fire & Maintenance (FM) Services.
n
- Previous supervisory experience desirable.
n
- Full clean driving licence.
n
- Evidence of right to work in the UK.
n
- Pass BPSS level vetting, including DBS clearance with an enhanced check.
n
