We are now seeking a Group Finance Manager to lead financial operations across the ABBA Group, ensuring robust reporting, compliance, and insightful financial guidance to drive business performance and growth.

n

The Opportunity

n

As Group Finance Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO and General Manager to:

n

- Manage day‐to‐day finance operations across multiple entities under the Group
n
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
n
- Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and regulatory obligations
n
- Optimise financial systems and processes (Xero, Simpro, Employment Hero, Power BI)
n
- Mentor and develop the finance team to strengthen capability and performance
n

n

This role is ideal for a commercially minded, hands‐on finance professional who thrives on process improvement, systems integration, and strategic collaboration with operational leaders.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee day‐to‐day accounting operations, month‐end year‐end closings, and reconciliations across all entities.
n
- Ensure compliance with taxation, superannuation, BAS, PAYG, and statutory obligations.
n
- Prepare consolidated financial reports, dashboards, and management packs.
n
- Analyse cash flow, margins, job costing,



and performance metrics to support business decisions.
n
- Coordinate annual budgets, forecasts, and cost centre planning; monitor variances and implement controls.
n
- Optimise financial systems and workflows (Xero, Simpro, Employment Hero, Power BI) to improve efficiency.
n
- Lead process improvement and digital transformation initiatives across finance functions.
n
- Manage financial risk, insurance compliance, and due diligence for investments or acquisitions.
n
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build capability and ensure timely, accurate outputs.
n
- Partner with CEO/GM on strategic initiatives, providing insights, scenario modelling and decision support.
n

About You

n

You are a proactive, hands‐on finance professional with strong commercial acumen and a focus on operational excellence. You have the confidence to influence decision‐making at all levels while ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations.

n

Qualifications & Experience:

n

n
- CPA/CA (mandatory)
n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
n
- 5–10 years' experience in financial management or senior accounting roles, ideally within construction, engineering or manufacturing
n
- Tracked record of managing multi‐entity accounting, consolidation, and project‐based costing
n
- Advanced systems knowledge (Xero, Simpro, Employment Hero,



Power BI or equivalent ERP)
