This is a global technology services business with a strong and growing presence across APAC. Headquartered in Europe, the APAC function is led out of Sydney and supports customers across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. With a clear vision to scale, this business is building a high-performing finance team to enable sustainable growth and robust governance across the region.

About the role:

n

This is a hands-on, regionally focused role for a technically strong accountant with experience across both tax and financial reporting in ANZ.

n

Working closely with the regional APAC team and CFO, you'll play a key role in managing tax compliance, financial reporting, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions including Australia and New Zealand;

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Preparing and lodging income tax, GST and FBT
n
- Assisting with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations and reporting packs
n
- Contributing to the development of the tax governance framework and supporting audit readiness
n
- Playing a role in finance transformation projects aimed at automation and process improvement
n

n

About You:

n

You're an experienced finance professional with a strong grounding in tax compliance and statutory reporting, and ready to take ownership in a lean but growing regional function.

n

n
- CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting or Finance
n
- At least 3-5 years' experience,



ideally from a reputable accounting firm or multinational corporate environment
n
- Strong technical skills in Australian accounting and tax standards
n
- Comfortable working independently and explaining finance matters to non-finance stakeholders
n
- Strong Excel capability and ideally experience with SAP, Navision or similar large ERPs
n

n
