Reporting to the Project Director, the Stakeholder & Engagement Manager will be accountable for stakeholder and community relations advice and activities associated with the project. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with other teams, departments, and project partners.

To be successful you must demonstrate at least 5 years in a similar role.

- Identify stakeholder and community issues and recommend strategies to respond, prevent complaints and minimise impacts
n
- Respond to complaints and enquiries within required timeframes
n
- Provide advice to project site teams and contribute to effective planning of site activities to minimise impacts on stakeholders and the community
n
- Record and report all stakeholder and community contact
n
- Write notifications, newsletters and monthly email updates
n
- Undertake face‐to‐face consultation with local stakeholders and community members
n
- Undertake consultation and negotiations with key stakeholders including government authorities
n
- Arrange precinct community and business forums, site visits and local inductions in relation to community and stakeholder issues
n
- Manage complaints and complete associated reports when rostered
n
- Assist with the implementation of the site‐specific Stakeholder and Community Involvement Plans and Business Management Plan, including reviews and updates
n

About you
n
n
- Tertiary (Bachelor) degree in commerce, marketing, business, public relations, journalism, media relations or communications and/or equivalent industry experience
n
- 7‐10 years' experience providing strategic communications leadership
n
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
n
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
n
- Ability to identify community issues and understand stakeholder and community attitudes and needs in relation to the project
n
- Proficient information management and technology skills
n
- Reporting, compliance and records management
n
n
