The Role
We’re looking for a Casual Collections Driver based in Dandenong Victoria to help support our fortnightly collections of recyclable salon materials. You'll be the face of Sustainable Salons on the road — collecting, sorting, and transporting materials using a van, and helping keep our circular economy running smoothly.
What your days will look like:
- Collect recycling materials from members on a scheduled run using a van
- Load and unload bins and bags safely (up to 15kg)
- Use our mobile app to log tasks and confirm pickups
- Keep the van and decanting space clean and tidy
- Be safe, responsible, and punctual on the road
- Represent our values and mission with professionalism
What we’re offering:
- Casual role – 7 shifts per fortnight,
averaging 7–9 hours per shift
- Vehicle, PPE, training, and equipment all provided
- Work independently with purpose, knowing you're part of something bigger
- Based out of our Dandenong depot
- Contractors welcome to apply
You’ll need:
- A C-class driver licence (our vans are 3.5T GVM)
- Good driving experience and confidence on the road
- Be physically capable of lifting bins/bags (up to 15kg)
- Tech-savvy or willing to learn (our app is key!)
- Full work rights in Australia
- Ability to provide a Full Driving History Check
