The Opportunity:
As the E-Commerce Inventory Control & Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing business opportunity by optimization of inventory planning, across our online business. Working with various internal teams such as Merchandise Planning, Site Operations, Customer Care, Logistics and Warehouse team. This position is also responsible for the product merchandising on the website including appealing products based on New Arrivals, Limited Offers, Markdown items.
Key Responsibilite
- Drive customer satisfaction and expand UNIQLO's 'LifeWear' concept by delivering exceptional product experiences.
- Achieving a full lineup through allocation of items and maximizing sales & profit, as well as achieving customer satisfaction as a global flagship store.
- Develop & manage E-Commerce business plan, merchandising/ inventory plan and ensuring stock is managed appropriately by SKU in conjunction with the sales plan.
- Reporting on product and inventory performance on a weekly basis and review the remaining measures with Merchandise Planner (change of sales promotion, mark down, etc.) to manage all inventory within an ideal level.
- Monitor daily business results and work with Merchandise Planner/ Retail Inventory Control team to revise allocation plan to maximize sales by reflecting and feeding back to the business on website performance.
- Work closely with the Site Operations/ Marketing/ PR team on a marketing strategy and to maintain products alignment with the website interface, marketing emails and other digital communication channels.
- Working with the warehouse and logistics teams to maximize warehouse efficiency (EC inbound and outbound operation), as a result, improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
Skills:
- Demonstrates organizational efficiency, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
- Ability to analyse and leverage data to enhance performance across various e-commerce aspects.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to develop processes for ongoing accuracy improvement.
- Able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic e-commerce environment.
- Customer service-oriented and solution-driven approach.
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively with a sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to a cross-cultural environment.
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of retail industry trends In-depth knowledge of the e-commerce landscape, retail industry trends and an understanding of consumer behaviour
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working within inventory control or other related fields specifically in the e-commerce/ retail or fashion sector.
- Previous experience managing and directing 3rd parties or projects to achieve business outcomes.
- Experience of working with e-commerce logistics within the apparel industry would be desired.
