- Great opportunity for an experienced Certificate III qualified early childhood professional
- Temporary full-time opportunity through to January 2027 based in Keilor East
- Competitive salary in line with Council Band 3, $36.48 per hour plus 12% superannuation
- Monthly rostered day off available and rotating roster to gain experience across the service's operating hours
The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certificate III educator to join our team at Moonee Valley's largest long day care and integrated kindergarten service in Keilor East.
This is a rewarding prospect to be part of a large and collaborative early years team committed to providing high-quality education and care for children from infancy through to kindergarten. Working in a purpose-built workplace, you will contribute to nurturing children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, play-based experiences and meaningful connections with families.
Working collaboratively within your team, your responsibilities will include:
- Working in accordance with the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development through warm, responsive and intentional interactions
- Assisting with documenting children's learning and contributing to planning and reflective practice
- Supporting the delivery of engaging, inclusive and play-based learning programs
- Contributing to a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes children's sense of belonging
About You
- Certificate III in Children's Services (or equivalent) recognised by the Department of Education
- Solid understanding of the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and effectively manage daily responsibilities
- Current Working with Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications
- Protecting Children and National Child Safety Training (modules 1 and 2)
