Moorefield Park Childcare Centre is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our established 4-Year-Old Kindergarten team.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside our current Early Childhood Teacher and Kindergarten Assistant, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality, play-based kindergarten program while building meaningful relationships with children and their families.

About the Role

Working collaboratively within our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten team, you will assist in creating a fun, engaging and responsive learning environment that supports children to develop confidence, independence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Your responsibilities will include

- Working alongside our current Early Childhood Teacher and Assistant to implement our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program.

- Contributing to the planning, implementation and reflection of engaging, play-based learning experiences.

- Creating a fun, nurturing, safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

- Supporting children's individual learning, development, wellbeing and emerging interests.

- Building warm, respectful and positive relationships with children.

- Communicating with families during arrivals and departures, sharing information about their child's day, learning and wellbeing.

- Developing strong partnerships with families and recognising their important role in their child's learning and development.

- Contributing ideas, observations and professional knowledge to the Kindergarten program.

- Working collaboratively with the wider Centre team to support positive outcomes for children.

About You

We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who is warm, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about early childhood education.

The successful candidate will hold:

- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or approved equivalent qualification

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration

- Current First Aid qualifications, including relevant asthma and anaphylaxis training

- Current Victorian Mandatory Reporting Training Certificate

- Foundation and Advanced Child Safety Training through Geccko

You will also bring a positive attitude, solid communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
