Registered Manager | Residential Children's Home

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Competitive (plus additional pay for weekend on-call)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (Flexibility required)

RGH-Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home in Liverpool. This role is pivotal in providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people to achieve their full potential.

The Role

n

As the Registered Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the home. Your primary focus will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets Ofsted's "Good" or "Outstanding" standards.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Leadership: Managing day-to-day operations and fostering a positive, inclusive culture for both staff and children.
n
- Safeguarding: Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensuring all children are protected from harm.
n
- Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

- Staff Development:



Recruiting, supervising, and mentoring a professional care team.
n
- Outcome Focus: Promoting positive outcomes for children in education, health, and independence.

Requirements

n

To be successful in this role, you must possess a solid background in regulated children's residential care and meet the following criteria:

n

- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it), with a minimum of a Level 3 or 4 already achieved.
n
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in regulated children's residential care within the last 5 years.
n
- Management: A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role within a children's residential setting.
n
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding procedures.
n
- Travel: A full UK Driving License is essential.
n
