A well-established family-run broadacre cropping business is seeking an experienced Seasonal Grain Truck Driver to join the team for the upcoming harvest, commencing mid-September. Operating across two dryland cropping properties near Dysart and Goondiwindi, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent seasonal work with a well-organised operation.
Working closely with the owner, you'll primarily be based at Dysart, with occasional travel to Goondiwindi during harvest as required. This role is ideally suited to an experienced MC driver who enjoys harvest work,
is confident operating heavy combinations and can work efficiently during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate Kenworth 509 Road Train and Kenworth 604 B-Double combinations during harvest.
- Cart grain locally between paddocks, storage sites and Mackay Port, with work also based at Goondiwindi when required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and safely transport grain while maintaining presentation and compliance.
Selection Criteria:
- Current MC Licence.
- Previous grain carting and harvest truck driving experience.
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work long hours during peak harvest operations.
