Job Description

Your new company Approaching 10 years' trading, past the startup phase and successfully delivered projects across a range of sectors, they are seeking to bring on an experienced environmental professional with a background in contaminated land. Leading and coordinating projects, with less time on site, in an operational role, they are open to environmental consultants stepping up into the role, paying between $100k - $145k + super dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

- Manage contaminated land assessment, remediation, and validation projects.
n
- Prepare project scopes, budgets, programmes, and resource plans.
n
- Coordinate project activities and monitor progress against deliverables.
n
- Manage project risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
n
- Prepare and review technical reports and project documentation.
n
- Liaise with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
n
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
n
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgets and forecasting, support proposal preparation and tender submissions.
n




- Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members.
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n
- Degree qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
n
- 5+ years' experience in environmental or contaminated land consulting.
n
- Demonstrated project management experience, including budget and programme responsibility.
n
- Strong understanding of NSW environmental regulations and contaminated land frameworks.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management, report writing, and communication skills.
