We have a new opportunity available for a National Converting Operational Manager ANZ to join our Opal Fibre Packaging team.

The position of National Converting Operational Manager will be responsible for working with individual sites to build technical and process capability, delivering sustainable improvements that provide a step change in performance.

Key elements of this role will include:

- Creating a proactive health and safety culture to ensure a safe workplace that meets all compliance requirements as a minimum standard
- Working with sites to develop action plans to improve Converting output, reduce waste, document processes and controls including operator TPM's
- Developing training materials and troubleshooting guides for operators as per agreed roll out plan




- Working with the National Maintenance Manager to develop spare parts naming convention and a national approach to stocking of spare parts for Converting machines
- Working with sites to develop and implement Maintenance TPM strategies to drive improved machine reliability
- Supporting new capital installations operationally including training support

We are looking for:

- This is a highly specialist, technical role that requires intimate knowledge of converting machines
- Ability to train and build knowledge and capability of team members working with converting machines
- Significant experience within a corrugator and converting environment is essential
- Advanced level of knowledge for Bobst or Goepfert converting equipment
- Suitable converting machine knowledge and experience to drive maintenance improvement and cost reduction strategies.
