As an Assistant Desktop Loss Adjuster, you'll support a team of experienced Executive Loss Adjusters across Home & Property, Commercial, Strata, Liability and Major Loss claims. You'll assist with progressing claims, review technical documentation, liaise with key stakeholders, book travel arrangements, and receive daily mentoring from experienced industry leaders while continuing to develop your technical expertise.

The Role

- Assist with progressing claims from lodgement through to settlement
- Review policy wording, repair scopes, builder quotations, invoices, photographs and supporting documentation
- Conduct desktop claim assessments under the guidance of senior leaders
- Liaise with insurers, brokers, builders, contractors, suppliers and insured parties
- Prepare technical reports, correspondence and detailed file notes
- Monitor claim workflows and proactively follow up outstanding actions
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, travel, accommodation and vehicle hire for Executive Loss Adjusters when required
- Work closely with the Director, National Operations Manager and State Manager
- Receive daily mentoring and technical guidance from experienced Executive Loss Adjusters

About You

- Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster, Assistant Loss Adjuster or Desktop Loss Adjuster
- Experience across Home & Property, Commercial, Strata and/or Liability claims
- Strong technical claims knowledge and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Keen to continue learning and progressing your career within Loss Adjusting
- Enjoy working collaboratively with experienced industry professionals
