We are seeking an experienced groundskeeper to join the Edrom Road chip mill on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Position We are seeking a permanent Grounds Keeper to join our team based at our large Eden Chip Mill. You will be involved in providing the comprehensive grounds maintenance of our large site. This is a full time position based at Edrom Road, Eden. We are ideally looking for a candidate to work permanent full-time from 6:00am starts Monday to Friday. This role varies from shift to shift, covering a variety of outdoor grounds maintenance tasks as well as site upkeep and safety.

- Mowing and edging lawns around the site, weed control and the maintenance of trees and shrubs.
n
- Keeping pathways, loading zones, entrances, emergency access and car park areas clean and hazard-free, clear from litter, debris and fallen branches.
n
- Flood prevention measures including clearing drains, gutters and regular checking and maintenance site dam levels. This may include the moving and pumping of water when required.

- Inspecting outdoor lighting, signage, and fencing, reporting damage and assisting with repairs where necessary.
n
- Assist with site fire prevention (e.g. vegetation management).
n
- Assist with waste and recycling management.
n
- Follow all workplace safety and PPE requirements.
n
- Complete daily or weekly grounds inspection checklists.
n
- Report hazards, maintenance needs, or incidents to supervisors.

Successful candidates will have:

n





n
- Experience in a similar maintenance or groundskeeper role.
n
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
n
- Positive attitude and be both reliable and punctual.
n
- Proven knowledge and experience in using cleaning or maintenance equipment and products.
n
- Previous experience with manual handling work is essential.
n
- Be "hands‐on" with the ability to think on your feet
